Toe Nail Surgery Slough

Nail surgery is a simple procedure that is carried out under local anaesthesia by numbing the toe with a local anaesthetic. This involves an injection to numb the toe, once the toe is numb, I will surgically and carefully remove the ingrown section of the nail. The next and the last step involves the treatment of the nail bed. When the surgery is done, I will give advice on how to protect the nail whilst it heals.

Some common causes that lead to ingrown nails are:
  • Incorrectly Cut Toenails
  • Shoe Pressure
  • Toes Crowding
  • Heredity
  • Picking, Biting or Peeling
